Today I am so thankful that nothing is wrong with my car. Well, not really. I spoke yesterday about how my check engine light came on. I took my car by Firestone after work yesterday and had a guy run a scan on my car with a cool little machine that tells exactly what is wrong. It came up with a message on both of my breaks. For a minute, the guy asked if I have had any problem braking. My response: nope. Everything is fine with my brakes. Then he asks, Are your brake lights working? My response: nope. I don't know how he thought to ask that, but he did. Come to find out the switch under my steering wheel/above floor board has a switch that connects braking with the brake light. It was switched off. He got it fixed. The check engine light went off. Everything is good.
I did almost have a slight heart attack knowing that I had been driving around for over a day (including in GREENVILLE) with NO BRAKE LIGHTS. I didn't have a clue.
I'm so thankful for the safety of myself and others who happened to be behind me.
The mechanic was surprised when I told him I had not been pulled over. I WISH I had!! Then, I would have known. But, all in all, I am thankful that it was not anything BAD or anything that required $$! Thank you, Lord. You are amazing!
XO,
